LOVE BRAND & Co.Partners
Set within 12 acres of landscaped gardens on Barbados’ West Coast, lies Coral Reef Club. The family-owned resort is the epitome of West Indian elegance and is recognised as one of the island’s finest five-star hotels.
The Club weaves together classic island style and hospitality, and is just a leisurely 15-minute stroll from Holetown’s chic boutiques, breezy restaurants, and vibrant nightlife. Here, days unwind slowly under the warmth of the Caribbean sun.
The Story Behind Coral Reef Club
Coral Reef Club’s story begins in the 1950s, when English couple Budge and Cynthia O’Hara set sail for the sunny isle of Barbados. As the newly appointed general manager, Budge headed to the beachfront hotel that was then little more than a quiet dream. What was meant to be a three-year adventure soon blossomed into a lifelong love affair with the island and its people. Budge, with his spirit of enterprise and quiet determination, steered development, while Cynthia applied her stylish flair to the property.
When Budge passed away in 1995, the legacy continued, with his family stepping in. Today, Coral Reef Club remains family-owned and run, a love letter to the island, rooted in history.
Island Suites and Tropical Cottages
That same sense of timeless charm continues in the suites and cottages. Scattered across the lush grounds, each cottage, suite, and villa radiates classic Caribbean charm, each being named after the surrounding local tropical flora.
The buildings feature wooden balustrades, fretwork, and shutters that open to the sea breeze. Inside, soothing neutral tones create a feeling of calm, while expansive patios or balconies invite languid mornings and, of course, golden-hour lounging with a cocktail in hand.
Caribbean Cuisine at its Best
When it comes to food, head to the hotel’s open-air terrace overlooking the sea, where live music and the sound of the waves provide the perfect soundtrack for your meal. The Coral Reef restaurant features daily changing à la carte menus offering fresh seafood and dishes combining classical cuisine with Caribbean ingredients and flavours. And, a few nights a week, the pace shifts to lavish buffet spreads and sizzling beachside barbecues that stretch long into the warm Barbadian night.
Adventure Awaits
Whether you’re teeing off on one of Sandy Lane’s world-class golf courses or wandering the hotel’s lush tropical gardens, there’s a lot to do at Coral Reef Club. With the Caribbean Sea on your doorstep, every type of aquatic adventure beckons, from paddleboarding and snorkelling to speedboat rides and bioluminescent night dives among shipwrecks and coral reefs.
And don’t forget to drop into the resort wear, where you’ll find some of your Love Brand favourites.
The Barbados Sea Turtle Project
Next door to the hotel, guests can also get involved with the Barbados Sea Turtle Project. The conversation initiative is helping to restore local turtle populations while also supporting similar efforts in other Caribbean countries. Non-divers are welcome to join too, so anyone can get involved and help the cause!

The Exclusive Design
Coral Reef Seahorses
We teamed up with Coral Reef Club to create an exclusive seahorse embroidered swim short in hues of blue and turquoise. The swim shorts celebrate this landmark Barbados brand, taking inspiration from the flanking seahorses in the hotel’s crest.
