The art of island lifeFounded by husband and wife duo Oliver and Rose Tomalin, LOVE BRAND & Co. is an authority in luxury beachwear for the discerning traveller. Living in The Bahamas with a family history in the islands has given the pair the advantage in mastering an effortlessly chic island style and iconic holiday brand.
Saving Wildlife Since day one
Oliver and Rose believe you can enjoy the good life and love the planet too, and that one does not have to cost the other. Motivated by the loss of nature in our lifetime, the brand has had the same values since day one; let's explore and celebrate our beautiful world, and at the same time let's do our bit to help protect and recover nature.
THE INSPIRATION
Each collection takes inspiration from Oliver and his family's love of The Bahamas, their travels and the wildlife conservation projects around the world which LOVE BRAND & Co. supports each year.
As an ode to our Bahamian inspiration and heritage, we use the cays and tropical island names of The Bahamas for our product naming convention. Our hero swim shorts are called 'Staniel' after Staniel Cay in the Exuma chain, the location of James Bond's underwater scenes in 'Thunderball'.
THE PRINTS
Oliver designs each LOVE BRAND & Co. print motif by hand, taking forms inspired by the natural world. He has developed his print handwriting to a fine art, with elegant and timeless geometric prints where nature hides and stories are told.
"A simple diamond print is chic but boring. A kite diamond print is fun but obvious. A diamond print that on closer inspection is a squadron of migrating manta rays and the product gives back to manta conservation in the Seychelles, that's a LOVE BRAND & Co. print", says Oliver.
Our Journey

2010-2012
The idea for a loving beachwear brand giving back to endangered elephants is born. LOVE BRAND & Co. and the phrase 'Trunks for Trunks' as well as our logo of two elephants forming a heart, are created by Oliver and trademarked.
We start trading a collection of mens and matching boys swimwear, and from day one, commit a percentage of our net sales to charity. We begin donating to Elephant Family and later The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Founders Oliver and Rose visit India and Kenya to see the conservation work on the ground. -
2013-2015
We launch our first store in London at 5 Park Walk, an area of Chelsea known as 'The Beach' and introduce mens and boys linen and cotton resort wear.
We donate to Kenyan wildlife conservation with the charity Tusk Trust.
With Elephant Family, we sponsor a Tuk Tuk, which taxis Londoners for free around the city, as part of the campaign 'Travels to my Elephant' raising awareness for Asian elephant conservation. -
2016-2018
We move our swimwear production to Spain. Our 'Staniel' swimming trunks are now made from recycled single-use plastic. All buttons in our collections are made from corozo nuts.
Oliver and Rose meet conservationist Tony Fitzjohn, and we allocate funds through Tusk Trust to support his Mkomazi project, conserving black rhinos and wild dogs in Tanzania. -
2019-2021
We become a member of 1% for the Planet. We start supporting Conservation Collective, donating funds to to The Ibiza Preservation Fund to help protect Posidonia seagrass and The St Vincent Preservation Fund to help the critically endangered Union Island gecko.
We also allocate funding to WildAid, helping their global campaign against the illegal wildlife trade. -
2022
We become B-Corp certified, committing to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
We launch our Island Outpost concept, positioning our one-stop beach shop in resorts, the first of which is Pine Cay, a Relais & Châteaux private island in Turks & Caicos. -
2023-2025
We launch our first international flagship store in The Bahamas and introduce womens linen collections and more beach accessories.
We allocate donations to BREEF, helping sharks and marine conservation and environmental education programmes in The Bahamas.
We also embark on our most ambitious charitable endeavour to date - The Great Elephant Migration. A collaboration with Elephant Family USA to take 100 life-size elephant sculptures around America, helping raise millions for conservation all over the world and promoting human/wildlife coexistence.
