The Strand

TURKS & CAICOS

Overlooking the protected turquoise waters of Cooper Jack Bay, The Strand is a luxury escape for those in search of a tranquil oasis. The resort opened in late 2024 and will be fully completed in 2027. A hushed, sun-drenched sanctuary on the south coast of Providenciales, it’s one of just four properties to claim this stretch of untouched shoreline.

Sprawled across 2,230 ft, The Strand is a private residential resort community like no other. With its own private beach and the protected waters of the bay as its front yard, the resort feels worlds away from the well-trodden path. No crowds. No chaos. Just the warm, golden hush of the Caribbean and a sense of belonging you won’t want to shake.

From Suite to Sea

When choosing where to stay, options range from airy one-bedroom suites to sprawling six-bedroom residences. Each is designed with stone walls, exposed beams and natural woodwork that invoke an elegant Old World ambience. As the sun dips low, slide into your infinity pool and sip something cold as the sky turns sherbet-pink.

Inside, every detail is designed to frame the ocean. Floor-to-ceiling doors peel back, blurring the line between inside and out. Head onto the balcony for a breathtaking panoramic view of the ocean, where you’ll also find your private covered dining terraces, perfect for relaxing in the sun.

And the best part? There will never be another hotel that shares this strip of sand with The Strand, a true rarity as Grace Bay continues to become more densely developed. This is Turks and Caicos, uninterrupted.

Flavours of the Coast at The Strand

Indulge in elevated oceanfront dining at The DelMar Restaurant & Beach Club. The restaurant serves as the social heart of the resort and features a multinational team of skilled chefs and menus inspired by the world’s finest coastal cuisines.

At the helm is Chef Gastón Campana, whose Michelin training brings a refined edge to the island’s culinary scene. His approach? Global flavours with a soul rooted in the coast. Think fire-grilled snapper caught just offshore, smoky prime steaks, and unexpected bursts of Asian spice or Latin zest.

The open-air setting right on the beachfront invites you to linger—whether you’re gathering for a barefoot breakfast, a long rosé-soaked lunch, or a candlelit dinner.

The Sea Is Your Playground

With the warm, inviting waters of the Caicos Banks as your backyard, there’s plenty to explore. Start your day with a dip in the ocean as the sun spills across the waves, or take a boat and help the captain haul in the resort's catch of the day.

While The Strand offers a blissful sense of seclusion, Grace Bay’s main shopping strip is just a 15-minute drive away, close enough for an afternoon wander, yet far enough to feel like another world.

A Greener Way to Escape

Sustainability runs through the core of The Strand. Here, more than 75% of the resort’s energy comes from solar power. And, all of the hotel’s pale stone and shade-providing wooden pergolas work together to keep things cool.

But The Strand’s eco-conscious spirit reaches far beyond its own footprint. To the west and north, a vast stretch of untouched land forms a protected nature reserve—a promise that this corner of paradise will remain wild and undeveloped for generations to come.

The Resort is also working in partnership with Colorado-based Butterfly Pavilion to protect the habitat for pollinators.

Whether you’re here for a week or a season, The Strand stays with you, long after the sand has been rinsed from your toes. In this hidden corner of Turks and Caicos, time slows, the sea shimmers, and life unfolds in its purest form.
