I have lived in Dubai for almost 6 years now, I arrived from Tokyo in March 2018. I am the Area Director of Spa & Wellness, Middle East with Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Currently working on our latest project, Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai. I have also been responsible for sustainability for the last 5 years at our Jumeira property where I worked on various amazing projects including the signature print for Love Brand & Co.

All the above, as well as it being very safe. I love it for the opportunities that Dubai offers, I am heavily into Fitness and Dubai has everything and more to offer, they don’t do anything half-hearted and go all out which is amazing. It makes me want to do the same not only in my personal life but also at work. Dubai encourages you to be the best version of yourself and has an energy that is beyond anything I have ever experienced.

There’s a perception that all Dubai has to offer is shopping, beaches and hotels; there’s way much more to Dubai than that, there’s amazing hiking in Hatta, a beautiful bird sanctuary in Ras al Khor just outside the city. There are endless things to do here.
