With golden sunlight poking through lush, tropical greenery and the crystal-clear waters of The Bahamas shimmering in the distance, it’s hard to picture a more serene escape. Tucked away just off the world’s third-largest Great Barrier Reef, Kamalame Cay is a tranquil paradise, spread across 97 acres of flowering jungle, swaying coconut palms, and secluded white sand beaches.
Here, you’re invited to embrace the true essence of island life, leaving behind all your worries and rediscovering that much-needed connection with nature (and yourself). The sound of the wind in the Casuarina trees and the gentle lapping of the waves as they kiss the shore are the only sounds to be heard. If you’re looking for a digital detox, nothing compares.
Set on Andros, the namesake of our linen shirt range, Kamalame Cay offers an authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience far removed from the bustle of Nassau. With just 10,000 locals calling this peaceful island home, time slows down, letting you unplug and fully immerse in the natural beauty - whether it’s wild swims in the ocean or catching the sunrise. And at night, without the haze of city lights, the stars are nothing short of magical.
Kamalame Cay is the incredible vision of owners David and Michael, great friends of LB Founders Oliver & Rose, and together we are proud to support BREEF and local marine conservation in the Bahamas.
“Kamalame Cay is escapism personified. It is one of my favourite places to unwind and also to party.”

Getting to the island is an adventure in itself. While you can take a boat from Nassau, Michael and David, will tell you, “the only way is to fly in” on Kamalame’s private seaplane, Coco. “It’s a true luxury to land and pull up directly to your villa. It’s a return to the glamour of air travel of yesteryear. It’s magic” Michael says.
From the moment you touch down, this dreamy island oasis weaves its spell. Bougainvillaea-draped bungalows, cottages, and villas, each beach-fronted and uniquely designed, are sprinkled across the island, creating the perfect hideaway for a blissful escape.
Snorkelling here offers some of the best experiences in the world, offering a deeper connection to this magnificent ecosystem.
“Snorkelling at Rat Cay is particularly special. There is a blue hole (a large marine sinkhole), and when the tide is going out, hundreds of fish, sharks, and rays all congregate to feed on the nutrients that come out of it.” Michael shares.
Kayaking through lush mangrove tributaries offers yet another way to lose yourself in the island’s beauty. On land, explore the island’s white sand roads by bicycle, or embrace barefoot simplicity as you unwind by the freshwater pools.
If you’re looking to relax there’s an incredible overwater spa, or for a more lively time Kamalame Cay’s famous ‘Luncheon’ parties on the beach will certainly get you in the dancing mood. We recommend the knockout ‘Sampson’ signature cocktail - you can thank us later!
Need a digital detox? Or just craving a peaceful retreat from the hustle of everyday life? Escape to Kamalame Cay - where paradise awaits.

The Print
We partnered with Kamalame Cay in January 2025 to create a mesmerising new print inspired by one of our favourite places. The exclusive print shows the resort’s iconic logo of two kissing fish in a crystal blue hue inspired by the clear Bahamian waters and big blue skies surrounding Andros island.
