LOVE BRAND & Co. & The Aspinall Foundation

Gorilla in the trees
Love Brand & Co. and The Aspinall Foundation
We are delighted to announce our partnership with internationally renowned conservation charity, The Aspinall Foundation.

We’re thrilled to be partnering with such an eco-conscious market leader as LOVE BRAND & Co, who have shared our values and goals from their inception. Their invaluable support will ensure that our charity can continue its groundbreaking conservation work, which combines breeding, rewilding and habitat protection through our numerous overseas projects.” – Victoria Aspinall, Creative Director, The Aspinall Foundation

Over 30 years on, The Aspinall Foundation's mission remains the same - being dedicated more than ever to returning as many captive-bred animals as possible to protected wilderness areas and reserves located throughout the world.

With two award-winning wild animal parks, Howletts and Port Lympne, who work closely with the foundation, they are a far cry from conventional zoos. Their parks lead the way in animal care, enclosure design, enrichment and breeding success, and are designed to be breeding sanctuaries for some of the world’s rarest and endangered animals.

From their parks to education programmes, The Aspinall Foundation go above and beyond working with local communities to inspire the next generation. Allowing school groups to bring the curriculum to life with interactive learning sessions and student research projects at the parks in Kent.

To celebrate the partnership, Oliver, LOVE BRAND & Co. founder, designed a distinctive and playful print ‘Gorilla Gossip’ to help fund and raise awareness for The Aspinall Foundation and their enduring commitment to critically endangered western lowland gorillas.
Gorillas in the wild
The Aspinall Foundation has translocated more than 70 western lowland gorillas to areas of protected wilderness, including 26 who travelled from the parks at Port Lympne and Howletts. Many have formed new family groups and are producing young. In total, more than 35 babies have been born in the wild across the charity’s projects in Congo and Gabon.

From afar the print is a graphic geometric but up close discover the silhouettes of gossiping Gorillas! It's available in our 100% recycled Staniel Swim Shorts for father & son.

With every purchase at LOVE BRAND & Co., we are proud to donate 1% of our revenue, not profit, to helping the environment and endangered wildlife and this season we are thrilled to be helping The Aspinall Foundation and its inspirational gorilla protection project in Congo and Gabon.
