#ProtectingPosidonia with Ibiza Preservation Fund

Love Brand event with Ben Goldsmith
We were thrilled to launch our partnership with both the Ibiza Preservation Foundation and Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay.

Love Brand is honoured to support the Ibiza Preservation Foundation with its project to protect the threatened Posidonia seagrass in Ibiza.

The event was held at Ibiza Bay’s restaurant Chambao. Guests gathered to listen to the co-founders of the Ibiza Preservation Foundation, Ben Goldsmith, Serena Cook and William Aitken, share their passion and hopes to preserve Ibiza’s Posidonia seagrass.

Guests were also invited to watch Love Brand's short film, introduced by founder and creative director, Oliver Tomalin. Also in attendance was Marine Biologist and National Geographic Image Director, Manu San Félix from Vellmarí Association who is leading this project and the subject of our short documentary. Toby Huntington-Whiteley, the SS19 face of Love Brand and this campaign, was also there to show support for the project and collaboration.
“We’re so grateful to Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay and LOVE BRAND & Co. for supporting the IPF and Vellmarí Association’s Posidonia protection project and helping us raise awareness of the importance of conserving this magnificent seagrass through the design of these fantastic swimming trunks and our joint event.” – Ben Goldsmith

The event encouraged the younger guests to get involved with a variety of activities engaging them with the importance of the cause, including painting cotton bags with their interpretations of the Posidonia seagrass.
Additionally, a collection of exciting silent auction prizes were on offer to raise further funds for the Posidonia Protection project, including artwork of the Posidonia by Oliver himself.
The event was a huge success and we are so proud to work with organisations who share with us such a profound passion for the natural world.
