This summer we have introduced organic coffee bars to our beach concept stores offering the finest organic coffee fresh for our customers. With the same care and attention we give all our products, we have sourced organic ‘El Calapo’ coffee beans from Colombia and aim to deliver one of the most eco-conscious cups of coffee in town! Organically grown on a family estate in the foothills of the Andes, our beans are then roasted in Oxfordshire and ground fresh in-store before every serving.
The climate and terroir of the Salazar farm, where our beans are grown and harvested is situated at the foothills of the Andes and has the perfect year-round conditions to make the perfect cup of coffee. The Salazar family, who own the farm put copious amounts of love and care into their crop making our ‘El Calapo’ coffee so special and delicious. With its undertones of Earl Grey and lychee, these combined, make our coffee perfect for a morning wake-up or afternoon pick-me up.
Direct trade is very important to Love Brand. The Salazar family are also advocates for ‘shade-grown’ coffee, attributing to the coffee’s balanced flavour as well as the added advantage of keeping the wildlife in the rolling landscape around it happy. On the family farm, there are 50 species of trees, owner Don Santiago explains the coffee farm is a paradise for birds and wildlife.
Oliver and Love Brand are delighted to have reopened our doors this week and can’t wait for you to try our coffee club. Take away in our 100% compostable cups or have it in under our stripy awning, served in our ceramic mugs handmade by Kat Wheeler in Norfolk. Our customers are also encouraged to bring in their own reusable cup and collect an extra elephant stamp towards your 10th coffee on us! Don’t forget that with every coffee purchased, as with everything at Love Brand, 1% is donated to helping save elephants and endangered species.
We also invite our summer-loving customers to scan the QR code on the takeaway cups to stream the latest Love Brand coffee playlists, to put a spring in everyone’s step around London, while sipping the best conscious coffee in town.
Available at the Love Brand coffee bar are a range of milks including almond, soy and Minor Figures oat milk as well as a selection of elephant-friendly teas from House of Warris Botanicals.
It’s thirsty work all this shopping! So, in addition to our speciality coffee, we have selected a refreshing range of eco-conscious ready-to-go chilled drinks from our in-store fridges. Including, Lemonaid, Punchy Drinks, Luscombe Orange Juice, Belu Still & Sparking Water, Two Keys Green Tea & Pink Grapefruit and JARR Ginger Kombucha to help quench your thirst!
