With this in mind, we sat down to chat with Nicolas Herbert, one-half of the Instagram account @laurandnicolas. The profile oozes travel as well as fashion inspiration with the desire to ‘inspire others to live their dream life’.
We wanted to find out more about Nicolas and Laura’s travels and why he chooses to love and live his 'life in linen'. From Italy to Indonesia, Nicolas and his girlfriend Laura are the ideal couple to follow if you want to be transported to some of the world’s most picture-perfect luxury locations. I love linen because it’s so breathable and because it keeps me cool in tropical conditions.

I love meeting people during travels and getting to know new cultures.
Where did your adventures with Laura begin?
One evening in Italy, over a pizza and some red wine, we decided to do a world trip. Less than 2 months later we left for Asia where we spent the next 6 months. Our first destination on that trip was Indonesia.
What makes a great travel companion?
For me, a good travel companion is someone with a sense of direction, which I don’t have at all!
Where is your favourite beach in the world?
My favourite beach is Anse Source d’Argent on La Digue island in the Seychelles.
