On World Ocean Day, LOVE BRAND & Co. celebrates the launch of our ‘Sea Weave’ collection at Nobu Ibiza Bay with friends in Ibiza and our charity partner, Ibiza Preservation.

Spending over 30 years dedicating his life to the ocean and protecting the island’s precious seagrass.

The ‘weave’ design adopts the aqua and deep blue hues mimicking the Posidonia seagrass shadows in the crystal clear waters around Ibiza and Formentera.
Posidonia Oceanica, unique to the Mediterranean Sea, is the lifeblood of the marine ecosystem. Known as the ‘lungs of the sea’ it generates over 50% of the oxygen we breath in Ibiza and filters the water and keep it sparklingly clear. Preserving the seagrass is essential to Ibiza as it’s one of the most important sources of oxygen to coastal waters. Approximately 34% of the delicate Balearic meadows have been destroyed due to climate change, pollution, and boat anchoring. Located on the shores of Talamanca, Nobu Ibiza Bay hopes to protect this vitally important ecosystem from further damage.
