On Thursday 25th June, we partnered with our friends at SJ Villas to host our 3rd Summer Party together, this year in aid of The Bahamas Reef Environment Educational Foundation (BREEF) at our Love Brand Beach House in Chelsea.
As temperatures soared over 30°C in London, BREEF truly brought the spirit of the Bahamas. Hosted by LB founders Oliver and Rose Tomalin and SJ Villas' founder Tom Menier, we were also joined by Amber Nutall, whose father, Sir Nicholas Nuttall, founded BREEF and Casuarina McKinney, Director of BREEF.

The event raised awareness for the Bahamas Shark Sanctuary and the importance of sharks in the ecosystem. Amber and Casuarina explained the importance of education in conservation and how BREEF is inspiring the next generation through education programmes and helping more children to learn to swim and connect with the ocean.
For more than 30 years, BREEF has been protecting local marine life and inspiring young Bahamians through reef restoration projects, education and community partnerships, helping shape a brighter future for Bahamian waters.

The event with BREEF was planned to be during London Climate Action Week, one of Europe’s largest independent climate festivals, bringing together change-makers, innovators, and ocean advocates to champion a more sustainable future.
We launched our exclusive swim shorts in collaboration with SJ Villas and BREEF with friends and VIP guests. The ‘Shark Island’ print sees a shiver of sharks in Bahamian blue waters, swimming fin-to-fin. Also at the Beach House were some brilliant sea life sculptures by Camilla Jackson, also raising awareness and funds for BREEF.

The evening was a very Bahamian affair with rum cocktails courtesy of David Flintwood and Idle Assembly. In true Love Brand style, it was a fun evening of collaboration and celebration of conservation with a Bahamian spirit. Here’s to the next one, as Tom and Oliver discussed their next exclusive print together, to be revealed later this year…
